The birthplace of Impressionism
A unique palette of Colors
The Gardens of Giverny with their archways of climbing plants entwined around brilliantly coloured shrubs are more famous than Monet’s house and studio. The Clos Normand overshadows Monet’s living and work space by offering a palette of varying colours from Spring to Autumn. Shaded by weeping willows and surrounded by wisteria and azaleas, you will stroll through the Water Garden with its famous Japanese bridge as you gaze over the Lily Pond.

Warm colors are also inside !
The Yellow Dinining Room in Monet’s house displays Japanese prints which in addition to being particularly charming, inspired so many Manet’s works. We’ll take the time to visit the restored Nympheas Studio next to the house to take in the view which Monet enjoyed.
